Tropicana Atlantic City – Boardwalk Resort & Casino

Great value! We prefer the Havana rooms or South Tower. We had a suite n the Havana with two bathrooms, living room and separate bedroom. Very comfortable! The bedding was comfortable! Great price and tons of activities in the hotel. We actually prefer Tropicana over some of the other hotels in the area. We have been going for a couple solo weekend getaway. Super fun! So many different bars and restaurants. We really loved Boogie nights. The club played great music from the ’80s. The crowd was from 21 to 70 and it was packed on a Friday night. Definitely a night to remember for us! We loved dancing on the 1980s themed dance floor reminiscent of Saturday night fever. Plenty of restaurants for breakfast, lunch or dinner. The only complaint we had is there needs to be more front desk help. Check in was way too long for a hotel this size. Staff was very accommodating but management needs to schedule more front desk help. We are planning to go back in a few weeks. Looking forward to another fabulous date weekend with my husband. Hotel is on the beach. We enjoyed the beach which was kept very clean and easy access into the hotel

We went for a weekend trip to Tropicana,AC,NJ with Family and friends. The place is huge and this is our 2nd time staying in this hotel. If I am not wring they have 5 towers and this time we stayed in the Havana tower. Rooms are OK , not too fancy though. The toiletries provided is basic ones , they did not provide the shower gel though for which I have to buy one, I didn’t expect it from a resort like Tropicana. The good part is It has plenty of food options , No need to go out once you are in. The main place is Quarter where you have quite a bunch of high rated restaurant followed by Market Place where quite a lot of food options. The breakfast at Gilchrist in Chelsea tower is amazing. As it is on the boardwalk, you can go out any time for a walk on the beach side. Coming back to the Casino floor, I somehow did not like it as the smell of smokes was quite evident. I would recommend the casinos in Borgata, Hard-rock and Caesar palace are much more better than Tropicana. Overall it is good for a short stay.

Food & drinks: Lot of options, Our favorites are Carmines, Chikies and Petes, PF Chang and Gilchrist for breakfast

My second stay at the Trop.. This year I was in an EXECUTIVE KING WITH OCEAN VIEW….. The pic on their site is very deceiving… The room was HUGE!!! Very clean and comfortable.
Only complaints about the room…TV 👎👎👎 picture was very dark.
Climate control is ancient… Did finally figure it out. And maybe a little better lighting in room. Other than this room was 👍👍👍.
Casino amazing and huge, restaurants.. plenty to choose from and any type food you want and all delicious. The girl that checked me in wasn’t the most friendly 😉. Didn’t really have any interaction with other staff besides servers at restaurants and they were all more than accommodating.
Def will continue to stay stay here 👍👍

Excellent experience! My wife and I always go to the Tropicana! We always find the games we want to play available, plenty of slots, poker and an amazing array of food and entertainment!

Rooms: We have stayed in three of the four towers now. The North and Havana Towers are great! While the South tower had amazing views of the ocean. The last night there was a powerful storm and we got to watch the ocean build and the sights were breathtaking!
