I was in town for a friend’s birthday party. The service was great and parking was cheap but the rooms were not great. The entire floor and our room smelled like people had been smoking there since it opened. We only got a sheet, no comforter. The rooms just felt dingy. We left the window open to air out while we were gone but the smell was so bad it stuck to our clothes. I felt gross in the morning and was grateful I only stayed one night. Not sure what the could do to remove the smell but I belt they’d have to start by removing all the carpeting and not allowing smoking. They did leave ash trays in the room but charge a $500 smoking fee? Doesn’t make sense. Would not stay here again.

The hotel and casino has the basics but it is not updated compared to some of the newer casinos. It reminds me of classic 80’s/90’s aesthetics. I consider it a no-thrills kind of place. The smell of smoke permeates most of the hotel and is strongest in the casino area. Most of the patrons are older. It is a great option if you are looking for an affordable, conveniently located on Boardwalk, good customer service, easy parking and calmer atmosphere.

We visited for 2 days for the NJ Manufactured Housing Association. All the staff were so friendly. The room was beautiful! The view spectacular. The food was awesome. They were able to provide me with gluten free options. I was amazed how good the coffee was! The conference room was spectacular with windows on both sides. The banquet room was magnificently decorated. The boardwalk was fun to walk. What a great place!

Rooms: Huge, clean, fridge, safe for valuables in room.

Old-school casino with some $5 tables. A good selection of slots. Some great restaurants as well. Very good location. Nice indoor pool. Unfortunately I haven’t won in this casino in probably 8 visits.
